LKEnail Professional Gel Polish Remover Kit

This gel dissolved the gel nail polish as advertised. I did apply a second time to remove the remaining.

I’ve read several reviews on this product that say it does not work but that wasn’t my experience. It works just fine but if you are using it for the first time, consider it like furniture stripper. The amount of product it will strip away will depend on several conditions, such as how thickly it’s applied, how long it sits, how fast it evaporates, the brand of gel being stripped, and even how long you’ve been wearing the gel. You may need to experiment until you get it right. Also be mindful that this is a fairly harsh chemical so care should be taken not to get it on your skin. Al-in-all, it’s a good product but I expect it costs a little more than what it should for what it is and the quantity you receive. The little tools that come with it aren’t the best quality, but they’re an asset.

I have used this gel polish remover several times and it works so well. The instructions say to put it on and let it set for 5 minutes or so. Works like a charm, the polish lifted and was easy to scrape off. This gel remover came in a kit with some removal tools that I liked as well and will keep using. This was so much easier on my nails versus removing the gel polish with a nail dremel

For the most part this does work, or rather helps getting most of the gel polish off your nails. It did take a couple rounds to almost remove all of the glitter polish off from a salon manicure, and what remained I ended up buffing off. I do really like the tools that came with the set. They seem well made, which is good because it really took some scraping to attempt to get the old polish off after the 5 minutes. And there wasn't any damage to my nails in the end. Glitter polish is a whole other animal, so maybe this would be work better on non glitter gel polishes.

I don’t do thick layers of polish so I only know how well the remover works for thin layers but either way the directions do say to file/sand down the outer layer of polish before putting the remover on. Just for thicker layer I don’t know how much more you’ll need to go. :)

I’ve actually used this remover before so I’m very confident in saying that it works. The directions says to leave it on for 5-6 mins but with my polishes I’ve found that it’s less time than that. The expiration date on the bottom (for mine) is 3 years shelf life so I don’t have to worry about it loose it’s effectiveness. The mul-grit, 4-sided file and the 2, double-ended cuticle, polish remover tools are a great additional bonus for this set!
